Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival 2022 | Norfolk, VA

Phew, Stockley Gardens Arts Festival, we are impressed!

This weekend at the Stockley Gardens Fall Arts Festival in Norfolk, VA, the weather was absolutely splendid, the collectors were warm and enthusiastic, and the artists were unbelievably talented.

Although we’re in the heart of Autumn, I had to break out my summer sundresses for this sunny, in the 70s weekend by the coast. It was such a winning combination to see the golden leaves on the trees boast of Fall while the sun in the sky beamed warm rays of Summer.

Within this gorgeous garden setting, caught within the liminal space between Summer and Fall, the Stockley Gardens Arts Festival artists brought out their best. I was blown away by the level of talent from my fellow artists, and it made me all the more honored to be among them. Each tent was filled to the brim with the personality and expression of each artist, and it was such a joy to witness.

Between the glorious weather, the beautiful setting, and the incredible art on display, it’s no wonder that the people of Norfolk came out in spades.

I was delighted to see six original paintings find their new homes. It was especially exciting to see several works find their homes so close to their source of inspiration (I’m officially sold out of all Williamsburg-inspired pieces!).

This festival marked the end of my fall art fair season, and what a way to wrap this season up! As much as I love traveling and sharing my work all around, I’m grateful to be back home in Winston Salem for the next few weekends. Check out my Events calendar to see where I’ll be next (spoiler: I hope you love art and wine!)

After a little rest, I’ll be gearing up for the busy holiday season and hope to see you then!
