I’ve been lucky enough to exhibit in many beautiful places, but the Neptune Festival Art Show in Virginia Beach, VA just might take the cake. Spending the weekend by the sea, dolphin spotting and sailboat watching feels enough in and of itself. I’m so delighted that four original pieces found their homes here at the beach as well as so many fine art prints.

This year’s 65th Annual Sidewalk Art Show was my first ever returning show, so I had never before experienced how wonderful it was to reconnect with collectors from last year and hear how much they still love their fine art.

Perhaps it’s the fact that 100% of the proceeds from the festival supports individuals with developmental disabilities via the Hope House Foundation. Perhaps it’s the kind locals and friendly fellow artists. Whatever the underlying cause, Stockley Gardens Art Festival has a way of lifting the spirits.
